Throughout my years as a mixed media artist, I found I am drawn to the beauty of nature and human emotions. Above all, I am a storyteller and my original art reflects a spectrum of stories. I feel emotion in each piece and I hope you find the stories and emotions within these artist paintings.
Style
My original artwork is heavily influenced by my travels and the cultures I have experienced. I am particularly drawn to the beauty of nature, our impact in this world, and the emotions we feel interacting with nature and each other.
Process
I am a firm believer in the power of experimentation and play in the artistic process. My original art is always evolving into new and powerful series. I often incorporate unconventional materials and techniques into my work - such as the use of "Kintsugi" - the Japanese concept of highlighting repairs of broken pottery to demonstrate value. Here, an endangered bird species is repaired with gold seams to highlight both its value to the world and the impact of its endangerment.
